Terms of Service

NexusBuild helps small business owners understand, reclaim, and take control of their websites. The service includes: scanning your site using publicly available information, plain-English reports, a guided handoff process, a safety-gated WordPress migration workflow, hosted AI-built websites, and letting you prepare changes by describing them in plain English before choosing whether to publish.

You need an account to use most features. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and have the authority to act for the business whose website you connect.

You may use the read-only public scan for legitimate purposes. You may connect accounts, provide logins, migrate, publish, or manage a website only when you own it or are authorized to act for its owner. When you provide access or authorize work, you confirm you have that right. We may suspend accounts that connect or change property they are not authorized to manage.

Logins you give us are encrypted immediately and stored in our vault. We use them only for the purpose you gave them to us for (for example, copying your site from your current host), only after you have signed an explicit authorization, and every access is logged. We never display stored passwords back in plain text.

When managed WordPress migrations are enabled, we copy a supported website's files and database from its current host and prepare it on NexusBuild infrastructure. You keep ownership of your website, content, and domain. You review the private copy, approve changes to only the website-address records (manually or through the company that manages your web address when one-click approval is available), and confirm the live site and sign-in before completion.

We may pause new managed migrations while a hosting-safety safeguard is incomplete. A paid plan does not override that pause, and the product will say when the workflow is unavailable before work starts.

We take nightly backups of hosted sites and keep a version history of changes, but no backup system is perfect; keep copies of anything irreplaceable.

AI change drafts are prepared by an AI model following your written request. Review the proposed change before publishing it. NexusBuild keeps up to 25 recent versions that you can restore. AI can misunderstand, so confirm facts and review the site after publishing. Monthly AI change-draft allowances depend on your plan.

Scanning and reports are free. Hosting and AI change drafts are paid, billed monthly through Stripe at the prices shown on our pricing page. You can change or cancel anytime. A paid plan change may take effect as soon as Stripe confirms it and may include a prorated charge or credit. Cancellation to Free is scheduled for the end of your current paid period, so paid access continues until then. If you cancel, we'll help you export your site (files and database) at no charge.

Don't use NexusBuild for anything illegal, to host malware or spam, to infringe others' rights, to attack systems, evade access controls, or try to reach private services you are not authorized to use. We can suspend or terminate service for violations, with a refund of any unused prepaid time unless the violation was serious.

We work hard to keep hosted sites online and data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits.

You can close your account anytime. We'll give you your site export and then delete your stored credentials and data within 30 days (backups age out on their own schedule). We can end service with 30 days' notice, in which case we'll help you move off at no charge.
